Brand film

One rider, one voice, no music.

Café du CyclisteBrand filmWorldwide

A one-minute brand film for Café du Cycliste, shot out among the vineyards and built entirely around a rider's own voiceover and story — no music, nothing between the viewer and the voice.

One rider, one voice, no music.

About the film

Café du Cycliste wanted a short brand film that felt personal rather than produced: a single rider, shot among the vineyards, telling his own story in his own voice. No score, no music bed — just the ride and the voiceover, which is a much harder thing to make work than it sounds.

How it was made

This is the kind of brief that comes from outside the recruitment/employer-branding work I mostly do, but it's built on the same instinct: get a real person comfortable enough on camera that what they say sounds like them, not a script.
